Roger Chalmers

Mr. Chalmers is a partner of the firm and a member of the firm’s Litigation Practice Group. He represents businesses and individuals in complex commercial disputes in federal and state courts nationwide. Mr. Chalmers also provides pre-publication and pre-broadcast advice to print and broadcast media clients and advises media clients on newsgathering, access to court and other public records and proceedings, reporter’s privilege, and other matters affecting the news media. He has defended news media clients in newsgathering torts, defamation, and privacy litigation. Mr. Chalmers was named a “Georgia Super Lawyer Rising Star” by Atlanta Magazine in 2005 for his work in Business Litigation.

Prior to joining AGG, Mr. Chalmers served as a law clerk for the U.S. Magistrate Judge Gerrilyn G. Brill, U.S. District Court, Northern District of Georgia, and for Judge Stephanie B. Manis of Fulton County Superior Court.
